Let me guess, you accidently connected to Live once with your mod on?

You will probably be banned in 24 hours...but emailer has a different opinion on that

I don't think emailer has a different opinion on that.  Unless DaBomb put pixel8 eeprom on his xbox, and did all of the undocumented steps emailer did.

there are two ways. One way is install live and do an account recovery (annoying but succesful) and another way is to put ur account on a memory card (pricey but not annoying)
