i have been saying that xbconnect is better than live for a while now, i haven't even played it much since the ban of modchips. and since most people know halo is my game of choice, well i like xbconnect, also thps4 is my second game of choice, so xbconnect is where i hang with my decision.

Maybe its time you think about what you just said. As, I am living up to my free speech too. I need time to think? Ok, I like Xbox Live and I like coming to this board to get the latest on Live and such. Do I want to hear peeps saying that Live sucks or other junk like that? Nope, as that is not the purpose of this forum. Would I want to hear how much Live rocks? Sure, thats all good, but the opposite we don't need here.

Live is worth it just for that game in my opinion.
The sports aspect of live is what makes it shine.

For me, xbox live far superior to the pc online experience and xboxconnect, perfectly easy to use, offers full voice support, and has had zero lag. I highly reccomend it.

the only thing xbconnect has on live is the ability to play system connect games like halo. thats it. people saying "oh the voice thing sucks" dont have to use it on live.
verdict: when halo 2 comes out but it and live.

unreal championship? got it for da pee-cee... (and isn't it supposed to be "2k3"?)
ghost recon? sucked on PC, sucks even more on XBox (raven shield... now THAT's a different matter)
mechassault? uhhh... 1.) find enemy. 2.) shoot. 3.) repeat #2 until one of you blows up. wow... i mean it looks nice... but there is NO strategy ...oh, and i know you can shoot better in the water, as it cools your guns
... but i want faster more nimble mechs (think EVA-00).nfl2k3? ahhhhhhhhhh......... (heavy sigh) that game is DREAMY!
totally fucking *LAME* is you're playing someone on the couch (gee, does that big circular cursor show the play you're picking? oh... a running play?), but 104.5% LOVE online. that game alone is getting me to buy another unmodded xbox for live.... but so far that's about it.i think the whole "trashtalk!" advertising is just stupid, too... we're encouraging our kids to be assholes as long as they are out of arms reach... i would just SLAP half the fuck-Os i hear if they were close enough to reach... especially the voice masked fuckers....

As far as FPS's go.. I think they're just fun split screen when playing with friends, nothing more than that. I'd rather play online on my PC.
As cool as Live sounds, I can't see myself buying another xbox for it. Maybe when there's a more practical workaround for moded xboxs I'll give it a go..
