Ok here is the story a friend of mine had a version 1.0 xbox and wanted it softmodded. I then in return softmodded it for him using the mechassault exploit. When i returned it to him it booted fine and then he acciedently started a game of halo. He then moved it to a new location in his room and turned it off. When he turned it back on the xbox does a clock loop for like 5 hrs and then loses all video output and then the eject light begins to blink green and red. I took a look at it for him and it his power connector on the rear was very loose so I opened it up and resoldiered it so that it was no longer lose. We figure that the xbox got fried somehow by a possible surge from the power supply when it short circuited or something but not sure. I now bought the xbox from him for 30 bucks to use as parts but i was wondering if it could possible fixed and if so how or what your opinions are on this.

Throw in a modchip & mabey a new power suply, & all will be good :D
