As far as your HDD loaded with games, it's obviously not the original drive, and this could be trouble.
Still have the original drive? You might wanna stick that back in if you want to play Live without too many problems............

If you have a (on/off swichtable) mod, yes.
You shouldnt even be associating EvoX and XBL.
SImple, turn off MODCHIP and play Original Games / XBL.
Turn on ModCHip, Use EvoX and/or BackUps, NO XBL!!!
