I too am wondering, I dont plan on playing online, just the live enabled games like unreal champ and so on,
I will never go online, so will it kill my sys?

did you read the main pinned thread? i think it has all the answers there, and also if your dashboard is updated with teh new xbox live shit, the game will still run update.xbe cuz MS hates you
