You have a BIGGER problem with a PAL xbox than we do with NTSC ones.

You must NEVER permit an NTSC game to update your dashboard. It's pretty fatal.

The guy that wrote the EEPROM utility did it to attempt to recover from the damage done by an NTSC update to a PAL xbox.
