If I install the matrix mod chip and do not load thebios that contains the dashboard portion.  would I be able to play backups live once the service is created?

I apologize....

What I meant to say is that I do not intend to utilize any of the dashboard features; or applications.  If I do not rename the MS dashboard file, would I have the overwrite and corruption problems that many people are experiencing

Secondly, My matrix chip is set to Always boot to the matrix bios.  Is it possible to play online in this mode, or would I only be able to play with original games; bypassing the matrix bios and booting into the normal MS bios.

Thanks,

Zip

If you leave the original dash intact there are no problems with mod chips.

You do not even have to bypass the mod chip, Xblive doesn't care if it's there.
