Title: Wireless Xbox (with Laptop) Problem
Post by: TheMuffinMan on January 31, 2006, 05:39:00 PM
You need to enable Internet Connection Sharing, rather than bridging, also make sure you're using a crossover cable to your xbox, and not a patch/straight-through smile.gif

if your setup is correct make sure XBC can find your xbox in the settings menu

Nope, Windows ICS just tells your computer that you get your internet from the wireless connection and forces an IP of 192.168.0.1 i believe on the other NIC card that your xbox will use. It'll also say "Shared" under the nic/wireless icons
