Goto your dashboard head down to your Mac address and enter 0050F2xxxxxx  you can make the X any number you want, but be sure the MAC address starts like that.  This will get your xbox detected in XBC.

I have the same problem. Even when i change the MAC address, it will be reset to 00000000 after a reboot. When i change the MAC address and run a connecting test, the link is there. (ping from a PC) When i leave the network configuratioon the connecting is gone. (connection time out).
