He hosted and I looked and again nothing... So then we tried a hub (ie no firewall or weird routing stuff to go through) and again no joy... we tried a different game which was Top Spin Tennis... I created and he saw my game this time, but on trying to join it just says the connection was lost... none of my games could do system link
The only think I didn't try was a crossover cable but that doesn't make sense... it should work on my router really. What I'd like to know is when a game runs that supports system link, what ip setup does it use? does it use the dashboard settings? or does it change to dhcp? It was so annoying and want to try and get this sorted. I tried Top Spin on Kai Link also and again says the connection was lost... it just can't join... I tried Rallisport from original bios as well in case it was that and still no joy...
Can anyone help or give me some tips? Would be greatly appreciated.
