I think that you can call it the day with a 56k. The pings are to high and you can only play some very few games.

I've played a bunch of Ghost Recon with 56k on XBConnect with no probs with lag or anything...I haven't tried Ghost Recon:Island Thunder, but it seems alot of Tom Clancey games do well with 56k...RS3,Ghost recon, etc.  And no, Halo won't work at all.  I tried a while back...I can get in and see stuff, but cannot move because lag makes it unplayable.
