Title: V1.1 Eeprom On A V1.3 Xbox?
Post by: trikster on August 04, 2003, 09:16:00 PM
I bought a new Xbox today, and I was wondering if I could use my unbanned version 1.1 EEPROM on my new, version 1.3 Xbox.  It won't give me any problems, will it?

no it wont.. I had to switch my v1.0 eproom to my v1.2 board after i switched it with my friend cause i needed the ATX plug on the 1.2 boards for my PC case mod..

Anyways.. i had to switch the eprooms because my PSO saves would not work with the new boards eproom i guessed it signed to the v1.0... so ya .. i swapped the eprooms and everything has been mint for over a month now

Now that I realize it...since I bought a new Xbox, do I really need to flash my EEPROM?  It's a new Xbox and a new motherboard, so it should work fine, right?

yes with a new xbox don't flash the eeprom. save it for the other one that you'll fix one day.
