Well, if you flashed the EEPROM incorrectly, getting a new HD won't solve the problem. So you totally lost the EEPROM for the Xbox? It MIGHT still be saved under backup folder in C if you EvolutionX.

well what i planned on doing was using an unbanned eeprom.  i was going to get the proper files on it and i was going to flash the eeprom with a different one.  i figure since its a new hdd i should be fine.  or am i just a jackass?

As I already said, changing your HD won't fix your EEPROM if you incorrectly flashed it. Your EEPROM lies on your Xbox's motherboard. Check out the link I posted before

yes i plan on following that tutorial...but i know that the eeprom stores the info on the hdd so i was just wondering if i would be safe in doing this method or if its a waste of time
