well right now the mod protection is causing a lot of trouble, so we never know but i think they will find a way around it eventually.

Companies before have given up not wanting to waste resources when each time a protection is scheme is updated, the hacking community immediately releases a new hack. Even MS does not have enough highly trained people to compete with an onslaught of hacking from this community. They may come up with a better security measure that can't be hacked, but right now I would bet that hackers will soon have the upper hand.

I agree...but I wonder how we will get past it? Havn't they already  made it so unbanned people can get on XBlive w/ a modded system and not get banned?

I personally have no intention on working on such a project. I disagree with MS's banning of consoles, I also disagree with using a mod while online for either piracy or cheating.

But that's just me, I'm sure some other ppl will do it I 'spose.

Right!  playing oem discs on modded systems (disabled ofcourse and without banning) is all I am asking too..  Screw the backups on XBL, one step at a time....

We have a way to get you on IF your banned already, with the eeprom switch.

We have no way to disabled checking.

If i install a switch (i havn't been banned yet) and disable my mod...will it ban me?
