Banned XBox.
Here is my XYZ
X: 0000-000D
Y: 00C2-0380
Z: 0000-0000
-
guys post all this in the stickied forum everyone who posted there codes here post it back in the stickied forum
-
Fuzzy, I still don't understand your avatar.
All your Base? What is that? lol
-
its something famous allyourbase.net should cover everything

I really think if we can decode the XYZ Codes well get somewhere.
X: 0000-F021
Y: 00A8-6840
Z: 8015-190D
that is a nonworking one, i know the d at the end of z is bad and a c at the end is bad but a 17 is good. I know the 2nd y value should not begin 68 then have a blank then a 0 (shouldnt be 68_0 thats an error) the x seems to only vary in the 3 number of the x value second row (f021 or f011)
X: 0000-F001
Y: 00A8-4840
Z: 0000-0000
UL: 82 kbs
Dl: 572 Kb
L: 89 MF (99 MF)
P: 8/8
This is a working box, as we can see the ping and the ul and everything seem fine while ours say nothing (even though packetsniffing proves otherwise) The x lacks a 3rd number in the 2nd value the y does not have the error code and the z is all blank. If anyone can draw anything from these numbers that would be good. Post your codes and whether it works or not.
-
They are hex values most likely xor'd from some sort of table. Is your unmodded box working?
-
No they are special codes that xbox techies have a program to uncode (well more the speficially the special super problem solving guys that never call you back)
-
These codes are more likely to be for generic connection problem identification. It may be that one or two bits of a certain value tell you whether or not you have a chip detected - as this is quite a useful diagnostic...but beyond that they are not much use.
-
well yes the codes do mean certain problems and i think there is a modchip identification one, i have an idea, we need one box with a modchip that can go online and one that cant. Take both of them, enable the modchip, and check the xyz values, if two of them are the same, they are modchip identification codes, someone get working on this right away...i dont have any working boxes with mods or without so i cant do this...
-
Actually your wrong, i can easily change these settings by changing my router info, its not permanent these codes. I think you definitely know a lot more than me but these codes do have purposes, ok this is my theory. The codes you are talking about are the x values, they represent the eeprom somehow, the y values are the response codes, error codes, and modchip report codes, the z is something to do with how many packets (if any you are recieving. Am i agreed with?
-
i dont think the zs are the problem its the ys because the ys determine errors and i forgot who it was but someone was asked during support for their xyz values and right after they read the y value they were asked if they had a modchip, thats what im concerned with, now the thing is, if the eeprom can change the xyz's, can the xyz's change the eeprom?
-
im almost definitely sure the z changes due to connection because the guy i was on the phone with said that the D at the end was bad then i was playing around with my settings and stuff and it changed to a c but its normall a 17 so i think (actually im 99 percent sure) that has to do wiht connection (or lack there of)h
-
hmm well when i switch my chip on or switchi t off the second y value changed...one error message ( i believe 6860) means your modchip is enabled.
-
The "Y" codes will tell if the mod is on or off. They will ALSO tell if there has been a mod put in your console...
Has ANYONE done a check of your eeprom BEFORE and AFTER a "banning"???
I hope so.
Z

hmm i believe 6860 is either disabled with mod in or enabled. 6840 seems to be an error with no modchip and 6820 seems to be mod disabled but previously used. Can anyone verify any of these?

x: 0000:F001
Y: 00AB-6860
Z: 8015-1917
mod on
X: 0000-F001
Y: 00A8-6820
Z: 8015-190D
What my box is showing notice the z code changed also anyone else notice this?

The XYZ is just a hash of your network settings. Change your network settings and look at it again. It might be used for support to get users true network settings when they're paranoid or hiding the fact that they're behind NAT.
-
not a network guy but what is XYZ ?
adresses for memory for the network card or somethin?
I dont have the slightest clue
-
When you go to the xbox live connect page in the dash go to network settings, wait for everything to load then hit Y over the help button, it will give you some codes.
-
-
where did i say they alter your epprom? the eeprom edits the xyz codes. Reply to my other post of this.
-
Will this work?
modchip disabled.
plug xbox into router/hub etc.... but do not connect to the net.
test connection.
check x/y/z.
examine the y value to determine if you chip has been detected by new dashboard/update.xbe?
