You Play in Three different region's of the world USA,EUROPE and The Far EAST,
completing missions race's,road rages,crash junctions,special events and Takedown timer's to get cash and to unlock new events,cars,trophies,signature takedowns,crash headlines and spacial event postcards.
Single Event:
In single event you can play the standard Race,Time Attack,Road Rage and Crash.
You Eran crash in theirs modes to unlock (cars only),you can only play the level that you beat in BurnOut World Tour.
Multi Player:
In multi Player Theres Race,Road Rage,Team Crush,Double Impact and party crash i like road rage and party crash the most in multi player.
Xbox Live:
I'm not sure what really is on Xbox Live, but its probably the same as multi player with some downloadable content.

Not sure why they didn't add a sys-link to the game it would have kicked ass on XBC or Kai thou.

Seems like a 9 or above for me too.
The fun factor and the whole experience is top notch.
Only wish it had system link so I could play with my buddies on Friday Nights! (like HALO, Rainbow6 and Crimson Sky)

Just the car wreckage alone is NEW!
This game is so far in advance of NFS's ... I too wouldn't compare the 2.
I thought the other 2 burnout's physic's were off ... but liked those games... Blowout 3 did solve the physic's so it finally seems like a Arcade Racer and the Fun Factor and Graphics (crashes,ect) make it heads above other RACERS! PERIOD.
How about this Question.... Would you rather have NFS game or Burnout 3 ... and if you had only one Xbox CAR game ... would it be Burnout 3.
If you liked other xbox racing games alot better then I could see a 8 out of 10. But if out of 30 or so xbox car games ...this is the BEST and the most FUN ... I think 9 or above would be right.
Nice review and I guess useing your RATING system the game is a 8 but doesn't it FEEL LIKE a 9 or 10 game!

I mean it's a CONSULE GAME and a good defination of a GAME is something that is played to HAVE FUN! ... the motion blur is GREAT! ....Crash scenes GREAT! ...All the AI battleling is GREAT! In most of my other xbox CAR games ... seems like CAR BATTLEING over long periods of time was not there. This GAME is all about Hitting and Pounding on your opponents ALL the TIME... so ACTION is always there.
The other car games are like pleasure DRIVING in the country in comparision!
Hope I convey the ENERGY this GAME has ...to those who have not played it.
The ENERGY is what I felt was LACKING in the REVIEW.
Sorry for double post ... but after playing the game another 1/2 hour and trying to think why I like the game so much ...figured I would add my extra 2 cents.
Maybe others can share their adrenaline feelings too ... and I FEEL that Energy needs to be in more of our XBOX GAMES.

Uhhh no. EA just published the game. Criten developed it. EA didint touch one bit of the the game. And AFAIK, criten never made a NFSU game, and theres no reason to be calling anyone a jackass.

Kind of agreed, but then its no fun for this type of game, the game tells you how many "seconds" your behind or ahead. and that alone makes you want to go crazy.

it has to be arcade style because it's the only game that REWARDS me for doing all things we are taught NOT to do behind the WHEEL! ... drive on wrong side of street, hit your opponent, side swipe, ect!
I have nascar 2005 and everytime you hit someone... I hear ..."take it easy buddy, the body shop is not gonna like you" ....
I like it better if the guy said " Kill him, hit him, diestroy him, crash him into the Wall."
Do you get the IDEA! This is diffenently a game that means it when it says "kids, don't do this with your dad's car! "

it has the same street glow and boost sounds, you will notice it when you have played the game and when you start gaining speed you will get tunnel vision like in NFSU.

Heh, I just passed 70 Millions in the Crash Nav, and I'd never say one of these games reminds me on annother.
If a tunnel and a car somehow has the same shading, and you're claim one reminds you to annother, I recon allmost all cargames reminds you one of annother.

but anyway... Criterion games DID NOT MAKE NFS:UG...

I personally didn't like the first 2 burnouts and have yet to play this one.. but anyway I have no problem with you stating your opinion on a game, it's when you start attacking others for their opinion/review is when I come in to stop it.
For example, I hate star wars: knights of the old republic... alot of people love it to death but if I were to write an intellegent review without using phrases such as "sucks ass" or "piece of shit game" then I would expect people to respect my opinion no matter how much they love the game.

I mean, Burnout 3 is probably the BEST xbox game PERIOD. This is the ONLY GAME that REALLY HAS the ARCADE feel to it. The other great games like halo, rainbow6, crimson sky, are close to arcade feel ... but BURNOUT 3 is in LEAGUE by itself! I sure hope other GAME developers can LEARN from this GAME!
I remember seeing a Documentry for Crimson SKY and the PRODUCER was trying to create the type of excite that is in BURNOUT 3 and saying most of the xbox games don't have that GRAB YA quality. MS took a whole another year to get that JUICE and they did a good job with Crimson Sky ... but BURNOUT 3 took it up a few NOTCHS!
