meh. Ill wait here to see if its any good. Guaranteed there will be people that are going to be camped out in line for this... so sad. So ridiculous.
But i dont think that they can make it 2 hrs long because it will be so dam actionless if you think about it. It will basically be one or two missions tops.

you should listen to all people on the forum regardless of their post count..
a high post count doesnt make you any better than someone else, maybe all your posts were crap and some guy with only 13 posts helped someone else to fix their xbox..

Anyways I think it will be a good movie, Wether it should be made or not is a different story. Halo was a great game H 2 was also, the third will hopefuly be the last. I don't want to see the game get worse and worse and have them disgrace such a good series
This movie will just give more ammo to the people who like to bitch about how M$ are milking halo, and yet they only have 2 games? Final fantasy has over 116 titles.... Owell, should be a good movie. Cut-scenes in H2 gave a decent story hopefuly the movie will be even better.

They also already said Alex Garland is doing the script, and has been working hard with the Bungie team to make sure it sticks true to the games.
Incase you don't know, Alex Garland did the scripts for 28 Days Later, and The Beach...
I can't say I liked either of those movies, but I can't say they weren't any good...

MS and film giants Universal and Fox have reportedly hammered out an agreement to turn the $1-million-plus script by Alex Garland, who wrote the script
for the zombie movie "28 days later", into a feature film that could be released mid next year.
MS's series of demands for the flick turned off so many studios. The company even dispatched copies of the script to studios in the hands of couriers dressed up as Master Chief and had them wait around to make sure no copies were made. Demands are alleged to include creative control, a percentage of box office takings and a budget exceeding $80 million. MS is pushing studios to start shooting as soon as possible so that the movie can be released next year.
Why the rush? MS's head honcho (and the world's richest man) Bill Gates has said he wants the 3rd halo video game to come out at the same time as Sony's next console, The playstation 3, in the hope of snaring some of the new playstation's thunder.
Having Halo movie out at the same time as a new "Halo" game would be certainly another bullet in MS's growing arsenal."
