well the reload hack isnt a rumor sadly. Hope they fix this one soon, i was just starting to like this game somewhat. It'd really be cool if live incorporated somekind of penalty fee. Get caught cheating, pay a fine. No need to ban because theyre moms would take their xbox away LOL. Ok maybe thats a dumb idea.

that would be good rumor.
i found all those messages to be hilarious. Little kids frantically says, "YOU GUYS, THEY ARE GOING TO DELETE YOU FRIENDS LIST UNLESS YOU HAVE A MESSAGE, SO DON'T DELETE THIS!" It was so funny.
^Ah I guess that seemed to come from nowhere, heard about it the other day and thought it was a rumor.
This is what I was talking about,

Theyre already banning for this?
yep...

Jumbo numbers ask,
I've heard that you can hack a game save and go online with basically a power up that means there's no reload time. Is this true, can I do that?
It's true, such a hacked profile exists and it will be disabled by the autoupdate, however, right now we can see that hack automatically and we are banning EVERY player who uses it. So don't. Ask the players who've just been banned if they still think it was a good idea....
When I heard that they were to delete friends lists unless you sent people a message, my first thought was "good--now I don't have to go through my list and delete old friends." But after a second, I realized the friends list isn't stored with Bungie.
It had me going for a second though. I was totally planning on paring down my list to just the few that I regularly play with. I guess I still have to do it by hand.
i didnt know about this rumor until i signed on today after away for a week in Florida. It me a good 10 minutes to delete every stupid message. i hate gullible people.

Something like your power supply will explode if you use sticky grenades for 25 kills to win a round in rumble pit. Something retarded, b/c I can't believe people were so gullible to believe friends list were going to be cleared. I deleted any dumb ass that warned me about it. I can't believe it went so fair that Bunige posted an article to deny it.

People are stupid, get used to it it's not like it's going to change anytime soon.
Xbox-Scene is closing accounts!
Ok everyone, this is serious. The X-S server is way overloaded, and the only way it can continue is if it deletes inactive accounts. The only way they can determine who is really inactive is by PMing the admins and telling them the following line
"Do not disable the account of <insert your name here>"
Also, forward this by PM to everyone you know, so that they don't get their accounts deleted too. X-S will be rewarding money to everyone who msgs at least 1000 people to reward them for saving the member base.
After sending the forwards, press ALT-F4 to make sure the messages went through. Then turn off your machine and placed magnets over as many parts of it as you can. The motherboard should be especially covered. If you did all the following correctly, your machine won't boot up next time you power up. GOOD LUCK!!!111!!one1!!1
This bullshit also applies to Hotmail/AOL/MSN/whatver.

Bungie is not releasing an expansion disk. Instead, they're releasing a disk with the Halo 2 logo on it that you put in your PC or Xbox and it will put a virus on it. DO NOT BUY THE DISK!!!
Sorry for the double post, but it wouldn't let me edit my previous one.
Bungie is not releasing an expansion disk. Instead, they're releasing a disk with the Halo 2 logo on it that you put in your PC or Xbox and it will put a virus on it. DO NOT BUY THE DISK!!!
If you have put the disk in you PC, to remove the virus:
XP users, click on START, click on All Programs, click on Accessories, click on Command Prompt. Type in format c: . Now, go eat a meal and come back two hours later.
95, 98, 98SE, 2000, ME users, go to C:\Windows\system32 folder. Find d3dl.dll, heds.dll, and install.log. Delete those files. If they don't exist, create them and then delete them.
Macintosh users, turn off your computer. Chant "Wake up Mr. Computer" 17 times, tapping the monitor with your fingernail on your pinky on "Wake" and "Computer."
If you have put the disk on your Xbox:
On the dashboard, go into the Memory section and delete all the Halo 2 files from the Xbox and any Memory Cards you have (you must also make sure you have no soundtracks). Now, turn off your Xbox go out for ice cream.
