Title: Logitech Eats Ms's Lunch

So, I was finally able to bid my fucked up MS Explorer 3.0 goodbye, as my logitech MX500 (I don't believe in wireless) arrived in the mail.  This thing beats the living shit out of my old mouse.  It feels right, it clicks oh so wonderfully...and I have it on good authority that it won't stop working for all practical purposes six months after purchase.  

I just wanted to share my absolute happiness at having a scroll wheel (plus those nifty "cruise control" scroll buttons) and a fully functional left click at my disposal once again.  I think I will have to break out Counterstrike again...

It would be nice to have an optical mouse grafted inside your hand.

Or better still the tip of your index finger. Your thumb and middle finger can be the buttons.

I love my 5-button M$ optical trackball - it has Logitecvh beat all to hell - especially since the morons at Logitech went away from the snailshell-type to the kind that requires 3 fingered alien hands to use.

i have the mx700 and i love it!  i got it about a month ago, and it's great. Works just like corded mouse.

I thought about the mx700, but I think that I would really come unhinged if one more damned thing in my life needed recharging.  But I almost ordered something totally different since I couldn't find one that looked like the 700 but was corded on the place that I usually shop...fortunately amazon saved the day.

I can't use those trackballs.  My brain just isn't wired that way.
