Duh!  Did you really need to put this on the case.  You ruined my plastic wrap.


So, my first impression of the packaging it very nice.  Now to play the game.  See you in a couple of days.

Two hours into it and I think it's great so far!
I like the fact that you can indivualize Master Chief for online gaming.

nothing short of amazing. you have to see it with your own eyes. by far the best xbox game ever made. next to the original halo and ninja gaiden

im so blown away!
i just got it at 12 and just had to stop playing cause my  cause it was keeping my roommate up...yeah its 3:30 lol
i downed 2 red bulls to stay up till dawn playing and now i cant lol...
the story is amazing so far
i really dig how the story goes from the covinant  to the earth forces
and hey did every one notice david cross is a soldier! lol
sick game!

one of the best 'sequel' games ive played - whats even MORE amazing is - what they can get out of the XBOX 1 !!!!!!  try that with ya 'PSone'  

back to game - its HALO 1 refinded to the max - and BLOOD GLUTCH is the ultimate deathmatch map...this is what Sequels are all about..and worth the wait.
good job :-)

BUT there is ONE thing i fucking hate about HALO 2 .. that is - in HALO 1, i use the 'directional pad' for movement, its been bloody disable in HALO 2 !!!!!!!!!! WHY ?

hopefully somebody make a hack to enable - please....

Double wielding submachine guns is fun..

Reloading them with a guy chasing after you with a shotgun isn't

i haven't touched the single player yet but my first impressions of mp are nothing great.

lots of guns have been ruined and mp just doesnt seem to be as "fun" as the first halo was. after 2 hours of playing Halo2, me and my friends went back to playing mp on Halo1.
the textures are awesome though. nice rich detail. all the customization you can do to your profile character is nice.

lots of more things i can nitpick about the mp, but everyone will find out soon enough,.

hopefully single player is better.

Man this game is WELL worth the wait man! I preorded this game LAST year in december and I have waited and waited and now its finally in my hands. lol I went to EB at Arndale in Adelaide at 11pm and waited... I was the first person there and I was waiting anxiously. At 11:30 there were shit loads of cars pulling up and people crowding around the doors. I got ticket number on to get into EB and I was the first one served! YAY! lol there was this huge fat dude who was like 6'7 or something and he was threatening the guy behind the counter if he didn't get the first copy. I just stood there all quite cos he looked like this bloody ganster drug fucked fella or something and he kept saying that if he didn't get Halo 2 first he would throw the guy over the counter lol. Anyway I still got the first copy and I walked out of the store with a huge grin and staring at the crowd of anxious buggers. lol some guys cheered when they saw my collectors edition case in my hand. lol I started teasing them with my case as I waved it around. I left at 12:15am and went straight home. I played from 12:30 til 1pm the next day and finished it on normal! OHHH GOD DAMN IT WAS FUN! It is THE BEST GAME THAT I HAVE EVER PLAYED IN HISTORY! definatley worth buying! Like a few people have said the story has some VERY VERY cool twists... especially the ending. Now you CANNOT say that there will not be a Halo 3. Either Halo 3 AND/OR downloadable missions for campaign to end the story in halo 2 properly. Ohh man the graphics and environments in this were making me drool..... This game is THE BEST. I will keep playing this until late next year lol.... well tomorrow I start on Legendary campaign! WISH ME LUCK!

   damn uk release date. ive yet to decide whether to play heroic or legendry first time through, i want to play legendry but im afraid it might spoil my sp experience and make me frustrated instead of being gripped on the storyline

Is anybody experiencing bad graphics glitches?  Everything is great except for these glitches.  They are mostly at the start of the cinamatics and it just seems like it has a problem rendering the graphics for a split second.  Perhaps it's something to do with running in hi-def.  I'll have to try it on standard and see if that fixes it.

To the guy who couldn't find the bomb...it is over by the window.  It is a large football shaped thing with spikes all over it.

played it didnt finish it yet but man DID I EVER LOVE THIS GAME SO FAR MAN all ive been wanting to do is get home and play it again but school blows and parents are another bitch.  Hell they pay for my shit so i better listen ya kno. anyway this game is amazing mp isnt as good BLOOD GULCH 2 (COAVILATION) is still fantasticlly fun, people who dont like halo 2 sorry for u.

I definately recommend you buy it and PLAY THE SHIT OUT OF IT.
