ok from doing some research i found out that in halo 2 ther will be no atv(what teh fuck),and no new warthogs other than the guass,what the fuck!yes i no about the spectre but thers also supposed to be something called either a shadow or creep which is supposed to be a covenent troop transport and i know for a fact its not supposed to be the spectre so what the fuck has bungie gone and done?and does anybody know why they scrapted 2 of the new warthogs?(the snow one and the 4 passenger one with the roll bars)

I doubt new missions.  You would have to have a story hole or something and that wouldn't be cool.

Probably a small expansion pack for the multiplayer, extra maps, few more vehicles, ect. ect. Sounds more likely than anything for single player.

I definitely think they are planning on making a killing on live extras.  I am a bit torqued off since I dont play on live... nor care too.  But I do play system link and through tunneling, and would love to have the extra content...likewise for Ninja Gaiden.  They should allow you to buy  content on a game disk expansion or something.

The OXM discs sometimes have the dl content on them but not very often.  Hopefully if there is new halo 2 content released over live then OXM will put it on their game demo discs for those without live.

oxm can legally put them on a disk 4months after release on live

they still have the origional warthog aswell as the gauss, and yes they have removed the atv

and all of the new warthogs besides from the gauss hog arent in the game either

you can unlock new maps, foundation (i know this map for sure) and the e3 demo "city" i believe called new mombasa

it took me like 37 hours to beat halo 2 in legendary...


and i have foundation mp map...

but... how can i get the others you say...?
also... theres two other maps in maps folder

marathon and something else.

I have heard there are not many maps that are friendy to fewer people.  I.e. the boards are all too big for small groups of people.

Although im loath to post this but a few things must be said.

1. All the different warthog models (snow,troop trasport,jungle) were never actually developed past the picture everyone saw of them lined up a year ago

2. The ATV and several other vehicles where removed but are still in the code (ala halo 1 flamethrower and gravity rifle)

3. Foundation is the only unlockable multi map on the game that im aware of (viewtiful asher - your thinking of cyclotron but if you count the maps it adds up.)

4. New Mombassa is a playable campaign level.

You could have just downloaded the legendary save.  It's out there.


notsodiseased hopefully about #2 we'll be able to dl the atv and flame thrower models on live.  The flame thrower would be helpful to combat the sword.

Not sure what good the atv could do unless you could stick the flag on the back.  


In the weapons setup there is an option for classic halo.  I was hoping for all the weapons from the orginal or CE, but alas not so.  No pistol snipe either.

yeah i know...and that mission is great...

i love the drones.

play it in legendary with all the snipers out there.

but i heard a rumour in another forums...

Dont forget the Rocket Warthog showed on E32k4.

So they can be activated? , where are they located and can are they already unlocked?

Cyclotron is Ivory Tower.

yeah , is kind of cool , but i was waiting for something like what they showed at E32k3 Single Player Demo.
