Title: First Edition Game Saves With Second Edition?

I rented the first edition game awhile ago and got pretty far (Toreno's Last Flight). Now, I bought the game and realized its the second edition....and my game save doesn't work with it! Any way to get it to work, or does anybody have a game save approximately this far into the game?
