hi there,

i have my xbox networked to my pc network and i want to put my mp3s on there so i can listen to them while playing gta:sa

anyone know where i should upload them to?

or do i have to burn them onto a cd and rip then using the msdash?

I think they have to be .wma files and not .mp3's

when you convert them you can get a free, legal program found on this site called xboxst which edits your soundtracks without having to copy them to a cd and then ripping them on the old dashboard
but i think there something wrong with the program and it doesn't actually put the songs in its right folder so you'd have to put then in a folder yourself

music is stored in E:\tdata\fffe0000\

and then each playlist is in 0000 then 0001 and so on

and each song is 0000 and 0001 and so on

I was WONDERING where the ripped music went.  I'm gonna try some of your suggestions for sending music, ripping from a cdrw takes so dang long.
