Title: New To Psp World Trying To Get Mame Work On It

ok my stupid question now .From all i have rewad so far ihave a psp with 1.51 firmware and i need to upgrade to 2.0 and then use the mph downgrader to get to 1.5. so where do i get the 2.0 upgrsde if the sony site is upto 2.5000

2.0 Firmware:

Personally, it's better to use the 2.0 Firmware and use Fanjita's EBOOT Loader .9 to run homebrew:

BTW, PSP's Firmware is up at 2.60 now but stay at 2.0 or earlier for homebrew

I got,it to 1.5 but when i was downgrading it stopped an 99% and said something worng file corrupt so i removed the battery and restarted then it told me corrupt file press O and when i did it rebooted to 1.5.is that normal

It's perfectly normal. To prove that I downgraded once (just to try it out), I started with a 1.52 firmware, upgraded to 2.0, got a downgrader and 1.5, applied it, rebooted (battery removal method), started up my PSP, got a blue screen saying something about corrupt config, pressed either X or O (can't remember which one it was), PSP restarted and functioned normally.

Go into System Settings -> System Information to verify that you're running 1.5 after the downgrade

yep igot it working now if sony would release umd-rw disc i would be in heaven
