Average temperatures seem to be 40-60 degrees C, but I have mine running in the 30s (for both cpu and mobo). Temperature is not a major issue, but the best mod you could do is to 'supercharge' your xbox fan to 12v.

I just shoved the ends of the wire into the fan plug and hotglue'd it in place.
