Title: Multiplayer Only Copy Of Chaos Theory

Ok a friend and I have started stripping out all files not needed for the multiplayer portion of the game, our aim is to make the smallest possible (size-wise) working copy of the multiplayer mode. We started bt removing all the videos from single player and that cut the size immensely. I was just wondering if anyone else has done the same thing and if so any advice. Thanks.

just rename sc3_adv.xbe to default.xbe and delete everything except the ADV folder

i have personally tried this, and it loaded up the map  so id say its good.

I got banned three times on my old xbox so I decided to buy a new one.

I was using a stock hdd the last time I got banned, and could play SCCT fine with the chip off (I never got around to turning the chip on with that hdd). After I got a new xbox I tried copying the game to the hdd of the old one but it ran out of room so I deleted the files that weren't vs related but I just got a black screen when it should have loaded the vs mode. I tried adding all sorts of files back in but nothing worked.
Then I tried playing it from the original disc and it wouldn't work from that either! The two opening vids didn't play and I got a black screen when I chose vs.
This had been when my crappy other tv was plugged in via RF. When I plugged it into the new tv via s-video. Now I get a message 'there is a problem with the update'.
I tried locking the hdd and deleting the steel squat I'd downloaded from Live but still nothing.

Any ideas?

I haven't deleted the adv files from the hdd yet but surely that couldn't be a problem?  In fact I can't even connect via ftp atm for some reason.
