If your friend won't tell you how then he is an asshole because it is like one of the most public exploits. To do it, you have to be the host and go up to a merc and press Y + A at the same time and it will be like grabbing his neck but you wont or something and he will be frozen.  <

Dont think theres an actual method to it! i just think its a lag issue, like when a merc tazzers a spy at the same point he hits him!, i know it works best if your the host (as a spy) then you shock the merc! might be wrong tho! ive dont it a couple of times while pre-firing 3 grenades at the merc!.  <
