I wrote this program last year but never released it.  It's not fancy but it works.

It extracts umds for Rainbow Six, BA, and Splinter Cell.

Download: UMDEXTRACT.rar

It's been a long time since I worked on any R63 stuff.  I had planned to write a umd manager that would extract, edit,  and repack them, but once I had them unpacked I didn't really see a need for repacking them.
Everything you need to edit is easily editable in any text editor.

I'm more intersted in reverse engineering the .u compiled scripts. The UTPT can do that to a degeree but the guy who wrote it no longer updates it and the last version had a lot of errors with floating point values.
The bytecode can't be too hard to figure out.  Unrealscript runs in a VM right?  I've reversed another game's bytecode and scripts.  Maybe I'll get back to the Unreal games.

Did you try the simple drag-and-drop features?
You can drag a umd file onto the dialog box and it will load it.  You can also drag a target/destination folder onto it.

There's another thread with a more recent link to the download.
It "expired" but the updated link still seems to work.

Follow the link below and scroll down to "Click Here To Download" and click on that text.

Updated link to UMDEXRTACT: http://www.mediafire.com/?gblqyotwwd9

Note: This is not a virus.  It is packed with UPX.  Scan it of course but I assure you it is safe.
I've been on this forum for a long time and would not do something stupid like publish a virus.

The prior links claim to have been removed for abuse and/or copyright violations.

I wrote the program from scratch using C++ and did not swipe any code from anyone.

Hello partner, is there a possibility to adapt this tool for the PC version? I tested it and it gave error saying that the *.umd was invalid.

Is to do this?

Thanks in advance.
