I've gotten several PMs in the last couple weeks asking for the working patched ntsc default.xbe for PSO.
As per the forum rules, No, I cannot send it to you, so please stop asking. If I come across a new avenue for letting people find a way to find it, I'll let you know.

Not trying to be a jerk, just folowing the rules (strange I know on a board like this...)

btw i DONT mean the patched default.xbe since i do own the game ;)

If I had just the patch, then I'd surely post it. However, I don't. I have a fully working xbe that replaces the original default.xbe; it was patched when I found it.

It's not a matter of where I found it, which was xbox-saves. The point is, it's not there anymore.

Now that I know I'm not the only one who has this file, PLEASE will the other fortunate ones help out? Since we can't give out anything, a simple acknowledgment in this thread from users will be sufficient, so we know people are playing their PSO Offline happily

Hi, I've owned this game for over a year now, and still haven't played it! I have the PAL Version, and my plans to get Xbox Live have fallen through the roof, plus no one near where I live has Xbox Live, or even anyone I know for that matter!

I have a chipped Xbox with a 250gb Hard Drive and can FTP to and from my Xbox using my PC with ease, so is there any guides out there at all to help me hack the copied game that I have on my Hard Drive so that I can play it Offline?

Shouldn't be illegal should it? Considering I do legally own the game and should surely be entitled to play it Offline!

Thanks to Cooter34's testing, the mysterious prepatched default.xbe works on both NTSC and PAL games/boxes. Thanks for the results, Cooter34!
