Title: .wav Audio Files Not Playable
Post by: elemental79 on August 31, 2004, 10:59:00 AM
Anyone know how to play the wav files that are used in PGR2 ?    They are .wav's and have the proper .wav header, but when i open them in an audio player such as winamp they wont load.  I'm guessing there is some sort of codec being used that I dont have. Anyone know what audio codec will make these files play?

Without having peeked at them waves they can be anything. They can call files what ever they want, without it having any relation to the known pc-version of the filename.

They are some sort of wav file cause the header matches that of a wav file. It's probably just some codec that's not available.  Oh well..
