But isnt MW installed default on the F:/ disk? on my xbox it is.

The guides where really helpfull but I hope some-one can clear this for me.


I think the point to change them to D: is that D: is a "generic" label for the DVD - so you are tricking the game to look at the DVD - but in this case it reads to were the game is on your HDD

Doesnt matter if u have the game installed on the f drive--the E-drive--the Z, X, Y or Q drive---the .xbe checks the D: Drive

And as what pferris said above, by editing the xbe file you are tricking the game into thinking that its still reading the info from the D Drive
