just wonder how to edit the character names of a kotor game save usin HEX editor.  Also, what else can I edit in the gamesave with HEX, is there a tutorial out there that I haven't found? <_<

I can't help you, you might wanna ask the same question on a hex editor board  (if they exists)  the type of file really shouldn't matter.    just my .02
