Title: Kotor 1 Modding

ok well i CAN mod Kotor 2 with the override folder and all and it works perfectly but when i try to do a mod that's for kotor 1 it doesn't work i don't know what i'm doing wrong because i do this on kotor 2 (but with a different mod) and it works ok help?

The first -- and possibly most important -- question is, where is your override folder? For K2, it goes in the game directory.

For K1, it goes in the same folder as the saves:

TDATA\4c400003\override\

Common mistake. I assume it was set like that for the extra content, since that's where it ended up when people got the Yavin Station download.

On my box it is TDATA\4c4100003\
I tried putting mods in 4c4100003\override and 4c4000003\override  both with no luck.
Mimesis puts them in something like TDATA\4c400003\$c\4c41000300123553\override.
Doesn't work there either, but I do get a bad content message.
Mimesis suggests some autoupdate but I don't have XBL.
I've tried in the game's root directory like the pc version, also with no luck.

I've already beaten the game many times but I still love the content the community provides. Is there any way to get modded content to the xbox or could someone point me to a good faq for modding without using the override folder ? Any help would be greatly appreciated smile.gif

VoxAngel, can you please email me that kotor content so I can FTP it to my xbox... I never got to play that content because I've never had xbox live sad.gif

I never had it either, and after my last relationship, I don't even have my xbox anymore (or anything else I owned). dry.gif
