I don't know if this has been brought up before, but something like this would probably help loads with the GC modding scene, particularly the info in the last paragraph.

i can switch my pal cube to ntsc :)
its quite easy to do.
its harder getting the damn thing apart.

It's relativly simple to do that.  The region of the cube is set by which pinsa are soldered on the cpu.  All you have to do is solder some wires to the back of it, and put a switch in the middle.  It's like unlocking the multipliers on an amd.  I saw a diagram somewhere that showed which pins did what, but I don't know where it made off to.

if you take off the heat sink, if u look on the side futher away from the front you will see 2 resistors and room for a 3rd. bridge where the third would go and your mod is done :)

That wouldn't happen to be R6 would it? If that is, then that's the US/Japan mod I know of.
