Title: What Is The Drawback Of A Hard Drive That Does Not

hi i haven't found the answer to this question and hoping if someone here knows the answer. what is the draw back of a har drive that is not lockable? i do not go onto xbox live so it really does not matter to me. Can i still access the M$ dash normally by booting to it or will it give me an error? also if it does  when oting up to it can i still access the M$ dash when booting up to evox throught it's menu?

not being able to disable the modchip is the only drawback

the only reason to disable the chip is for Live


yes, you can still load the MS dashbaord with the chip on (from the unlocked drive)
