Hi,
I have some questions.
1. I have 2 copies of Halo of my xbox. One is trained, and the other isn't. When I apply .ppf patches to the map cache files, does that affect both copies of Halo, or just the trained version?
2. If it only affects the trained version, is it possible to apply .ppf patches to the copy that isn't trained? I have people that I want to play with that aren't very good, and it gets really annoying when they keep pressing down on both thumbsticks, and keep bringing up the hacked menu.
Thanks for your help!

The only difference between the two is the default.xbe files. So yes if you patch the cache file then it would work for whatever xbe you run.

Ok. Thanks for the fast reply!

I save space by having two xbe's in my halo folder. One has the trainer (default.xbe), and the other is called notrainer.xbe. I keep them both in the halo folder, and when i want to play without the trainer, I just run the xbe without it. It saves space so I don't need two copies of halo.

do trainers modify the maps or just the xbe

the trainer modifies the xbe-executive file for xbox- which esentially controls the maps
