Title: Halo Menu Editing

all the discussion ive seen involves hacking halo maps and in-game cached elements. what i want to do is edit the menus - is there a way to do this?

this would be good to for example link the settings menu in the multiplayer menu, or change the text of menu entries.

i just want to know if anyone has done this, and if not, has it been for lack of trying, or is it just not possible?

more to come after my experiments.

Open cache002 in a hex editor and jump to offset 01fa50a0 to change the multiplayer map descriptions.  01f9bc70 is where you would change the map name that shows up on screen.
