Title: Which Program Is Best For Halo Map Editing?

even though i don't know much about halo hacking, i do know one thing. All the boxes that you are linking together need to have a hacked map on them.
One thing i think might be possible is just using the MA/007 hack to open up the FTP on the unmodded xbox, and load the hacked map on there that way. No permanent modding needs to be done. I don't see why this wouldn't work, but i would like for someone to confirm this.

To my knowledge there are no tools available the do the editing on the Xbox itself w/ out FTP'ing.  I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but I've heard that Halo Map Tools v3 is an excellent program for editing.  

Using MA/007 would probably be the way to go to get hacked files onto unmodded systems.

if you wanna edit what guns fire and make things fly i would suggest Halo Cache Editor but as for map editing and weapon editing on the xbox i dont think there are any apps they all run off the pc.

halo cache editor is currently the only program that runs on the xbox and does not require a pc
