I know that the halo cache editor asumes that halo is in the f partition
My halo is in the e partition
I dont know how to get halo cache editor to understand that its not in the f, its in the e.
I think i have to make something called a halo.cfg, but i dont know how to do that.

My questions are-how do i make the halo.cfg file, and where do i put it.

Please help me out  uhh.gif

Default Halo path is F:GamesHalodefault.xbe
Otherwise make file halo.cfg is same folder and use this content
--BEGIN FILE--
STATION
FOLDER
XBE
--END FILE
--BEGIN EXAMPLE--
E
GamesHalo
default.xbe
--END EXAMPLE--
this will start Halo from E:GamesHalodefault.xbe
then upload all files/folder (Media, Maps folder)

....how do i do this?

u can just restart your xbox and then play halo,..... it won't touch your cache so the mod will still work!!

my halo is not in F//Games//default.xbe but i just restart after i patch, then load halo, and it worx

well, after i edit the cache (cache03 in the x folder), i hit the start button and it locks up

you gotta hit Y then it will ask you to accept so you hit A. then if the the start freezes it, just cold reboot.

Good Luck

my halo is in F drive in hddloader then PxGame0 then default.xbe
and my cfg file looks like this

f
HDDLoader/PxGame0/
default.xbe
is this right or is somthing wrong

should work if it doesn't use \ instead of / and no end backslash is needed
