and since lots of freeze bugs are fixed I thought it was a good idea to release new version
got the background working, not with the best way but oh well
btw for the germal pal users, GER is added to this version, no ini's are available yet but just but them in the Maps folder with levelname-g.ini
patches in PPF-G
help is added, use back (select help) and in cache/other thingys just press back
gonna add more help stuff
gonna fix a lil bit more in skin.ini
so you can disable/enable drawing of some parts
if MediaBackground.xpr is found it will use background (yes I know no jpg
)gonna add disable of background in skin.ini
and also disabling of the rectangles and title (for backgrounds)
background.xpr is 1.2 meg and the help thing too
compressed background is 190kb and help 71 so this will double the rar file, but it looks better
is no gamepad.xpr is found it'll not use help
gimme a few houres

I just think it'd be nice to have the ppf's sorted that way rather than a long ass list of hack'n'slash named files. I have friends who keep asking "what in the hell is "'BG-WOF (BOLL).ppf'"?
At any rate, this prog is awesome. Keep up the excelent work.

support for ger (no files yet)

Also, thought you'd like to know.. you left the gamepad image out of the background free version.

Not quite true.. the image was not there, but help still displayed.. just text with no image.
Edit #2...
On your help screen.. your select cache, and back to dash buttons are backwards..
And when I press the go back to dash button, the screen goes black, and nothing else happens.

sorry uberjim for removing the equiment page, dunno why but I removed it for uhm some reason
I'll include it again next time, for now use the ini from an older version
about the help thingy
it the file isn't found it should make the help menu thing red

nooooo black doesn't work anymore
why whywell too tired to look for it now, I'll try one of these days
btw the 1.2meg gamepad (for help display) is only 71kb compressed

virus prob
over the 1000 viruses on my pc
almost all my exe-files are gone
flashfxp, winhex, vc++ so uhm that means I can't update HCE anymore
and NikeJustDoItOK was working on my pc so he can't help either

I thought that it wasn't the amount of pages that was the problem. It was the amount of items it had to parse. 15 pages of 17 items is the max size of an array, 255. With that you could have 20 pages of like 12 items, or 50 pages of like 5 items, but the limitation is in the number of items.

it already uses [pages][items] for the array it's just that the freaky thing wont use anything bigger then 15*17items

yea source survived, I have soooo many backups in rars everywhere
but the prob is, had to delete the exe from visual studio and well I have the install cd but don't have the *X*D*K* anymore, and no I dont want it
I'll try just to get the exe back in and see what that says
lol 50gig used and 1000 exe-files lost
