Its on my site, which has been down for a few weeks for some reason...  
I did setup another temp mirror though.

Yeah, that's weird that your site's been down. I've been meaning to ask you something: Is there any way to use the Second Edition gamesaves with the downgraded version? Because when I started up the version with the modded XBE, it didn't find my save.

I guess I might as well, I'm stuck anyway (I beat all of Zero's and Woozie's missions and I finished driving school but I haven't been offered any other real missions).

But I'm curious, if I made a second rip for GTA: San Andreas for modding, how could I rename it to something like "GTA: San Andreas [MODDED]"?

simply use the app xbe-renamer.

well theres a few exceptions.  one of the obvious ones is hot coffee.  Although you can do script mods, Rockstart removed the needed files from the gta3.img file for hot coffee in the second edition disc.  
as far as I know, thats the only real limitation, so have fun modding  smile.gif

even though I'm not into the "hot coffee" mod, it would be kinda funny to see it working on the second edition game...

theres a really easy to use exe that auto patches it (makes my tut look much harder)
I forget where it is though, I'm an xbox guy.

thats what ive been hearing form everybody the close I can get to is a exe 1.0 german version but I need the US version 1.0 to play the multi player lol O_o for pc. ^.^ iam at the point where I will literally pay someone via pay pal to give it to me lol p.s iam starting to be that desperate..
