ok.. i have an unmodded broken v 1.00 box and it gives me the 07 error. ive got a spare 40g hdd but i wanna see if i can copy the files over to the ned hdd using my pc. Do i just have to unlock using config magic and copy the files?? Any help to get my box up and running would be great
thx in advance (wanna try not to use a modchip if possible) ( solder points?? )

get ahold of Slayer's 2.5 boot disc, install the HD and format the HD via Slayer's.
It has all you need to rebuild the new HD without even using the old one.

You can also just ftp everything off your orignal drive to your pc, then back over to your new drive (if you want to keep your save games that is)

wrong, first he'd need to fix his error in order to ftp, then he wouldn't need the 40GB Hd anymore.
