Title: How To Access Gta.img In San Andreas

Ok, so I've been working on this for about 4 hours now and I think I finally cracked it!
The only problem I'm getting is that I can only get the super gt out off the gta3.img

But anyway, this is how I did it:

1) Create a blank document and name it gta3.dir and put it in the same folder as gta.img is in

2) Then open the gta.dir in notepad and add this: " ˆ  sabre.dff               ° 
 sabre.txd               1 
 cbj.txd                 ² ˆ  cbj.dff                 " (without the " marks)

3) Now open gta.img and extract any of the .dff files (does not matter which because they all seem to be super gt's)

4) Now view the file in DFF Viewer Download


Thats as far as I have got but its a start

Sorry this does not work. Mod please delete.

I downloaded a car made by someone to see how it looked in the empty gta3.dir file so bascially all I found was how to add cars to the gta3.img and not how to extract them, Sorry

Yes I already tried that, It worked, (I used the the voodoo) but when it came to extracting I got 'end of data' or something along them lines and when I tired to view it DFF Viewer just got an error.

Also, the voodoo was a lot bigger file size than the one in vice city (too much bigger)
