Title: Button Remap Hacking For Crazy Taxi 3

So here's the situation.  I do anime and gaming events and I love getting the 'arcade style' of game play.  Light guns, racing wheels, stuff like that.  I want to feature Crazy Taxi 3 on Xbox with a MadCatz MC2 racing wheel.  The catch?  The shifter on the wheel only presses X for shift up and A for shift down.  Crazy Taxi only has TWO controller profiles.  One where shifting is A and B and another where shifting is done with the analog triggers.  ...Both are equally useless.

I need some means to hack, use a trainer, do something, to get the game to read the X button and give the B command.  That's it, I need some means to swap X and B in this game.  If someone can come up with a suggested solution, I will be ever so greatful.
