Title: Freezing Xbox While Trying To Create Trainer

When I issue the value command (after issuing fr) over telnet while running a game, my xbox freezes (and not in the good way). It doesn't return anything other than

saving game state in slot 0
...

Then I get connection to host lost and I have to cold reboot my xbox. What is going on? Any help is thanked in advance.
