Evidently I'm still one of the few who isn't so juvenile to try to claw at becoming a member of the treehouse club.

They're members of a private forum.  Evidently, that makes them 1337 (psst...nobody uses "1337" except for newbs or "lamers").

Anyway, it's nothing to get worked up about.  Some people don't make a big deal of it, and that's fine.  Other people/teletubbies/cheerios are raving about it; we're pretty much just kicking back and waiting for their hype lose it's novelty.

I have never seen a post with 1337 in it at x-mafia.  That is as lame as it comes.  BYT mods - lovely new crew of noobs populating the scene now, very nice.

Were this a private forum, we would obviously be judgmental and discriminate against those we didn't want here.  However, this is public, and kids like bagel are allowed to come here and speak "1337", as little respect as it may merit them.  But bear in mind, we don't hand-select these people as you do at X-Mafia (from what I hear), so that's no accurate representation by which to gauge the skill of the userbase.

And just to take the wind out of your holier-than-thou sail, we do hand-select the mods here, as opposed to giving the honor to heavy spammers.
