Title: Xbox Save Parser V2.0
Post by: brienj on August 01, 2006, 05:46:00 PM
Ok, I've finished another program.  This one is called Xbox Save Parser.  Here are the key features:The success of this program will depend on interested people making requests for AuthKeys and then finding the resign info so i can add it to the database.

I hope people will download and use it.  smile.gif

Go to my website to download it:

One question, could this app allow you to use the ninja gaiden hurricane packs?. To play the hurricane packs without being online you need to save the game while being connected and then you can play offline, but the savegame is signed for the xbox and the gamertag than download the packs and hence it will not work on other xboxs. Thanks and sorry for the english.

It strictly works with save files, and does not do anything with downloaded content, nor would I ever make it work with downloaded content, especially content made by Team Ninja.  wink.gif

I know what you mean  dry.gif
One last question, if you have a savegame than is signed for another gamertag, will the program allow you to use the save on your xbox?. I don't know if I can ask that here. Thanks a lot again.

The only game that has saves like that is Ninja Gaiden, and I am not touching that with a ten foot pole, blame Team Ninja for that one.  wink.gif

You know, even if it wasn't a Team Ninja game, the Hurricane Pack is still only useable on an Xbox with XBL, and trying to play it with a pirated copy of the game, or not subscribing to XBL, is just something I will have no part of.  If the developer wants you to buy the game, and play it while connected to XBL, then that is what you need to do.  The game isn't even that great, and sucks, but if you want to play it so badly, buy the game out of the bargain bin for $2, not anymore or you are getting ripped off, and then subscribe to XBL.  biggrin.gif

The whole point of my program is to help people resign their saves if they want to hack them or use a save off somebody else's Xbox, but if it helps somebody cheat on XBL, or get something they didn't pay for, that's where I draw a line.  wink.gif

ok another question about a team ninja game (not trying to get anyone sued or nothing)... i do believe dead or alive ultimate save files are setup to only work on the abox they came from... will this allow me to fix a downloaded save to work on my xbox?

Those saves are first signed, THEN encrypted, THEN signed again, so unless you can decrypt them, no.  It's been explained 100s of times at Xbox Saves.  wink.gif

You can resign them, but because they get decrypted and then the second check is performed, they will still say invalid.  I don't know why people still can't understand that Team Ninja just doesn't want anybody doing things to the games, so if you get anything hacked or cracked on these games, I'd recommend just keeping it to yourself.  You don't want to end up in court like NinjaHacker.  wink.gif

If people would quit buying their games, that get old very quickly, maybe they would finally lighten up, and not keep people from hacking the games to increase their lifetime, because let's face it, the only reason people want to hack their games is to continue making the game fun.   All TeamNinja games I own, I have spent more time hacking them, then playing them, that's the only fun and lasting part about them, and even then, it still gets old.  ph34r.gif
