I have Soundstream 6.5s up front, and 6x9s in the back, with a Soundstream amp powering a Alpine Type S 10" sub in a vented box. Headunit is Kenwood KDC-722 (It has a motorized flip down face, really cool)  <

Sony Xplod Head Unit (which only likes to play Sony Brand CD-Rs, because it's a fucking piece of shit)
Sony Xplod Speakers (2 6x9s, 2 6s), which actually sound really good coupled with the deck
MTX 2 channel Amp, I think 350 RMS
2 MTX Thunder 6000 12" subs

I need some Dynamat, and a new head unit  <

well I know some people who say they only buy Sony head units, personally I won't touch any sony mobile products with a 40 ft pole.

Sony head units are one of the best I think. I will buy other brands too.

I have:

Sony CDX-MP70 cd player
Sony 10 Disc Changer
Polk Audio Components in doors (6 1/2", 1" tweeters, crossovers)
Polk 6x9 in the read deck
Rockford Fosgate 200w amp running the tweeters
Eclipse(one of the best companies) Aluminum cone 12" sub (way louder than multiple subs of other brands)
Kenwood 600w amp running my sub (sub can handle twice as much power but its too loud for me)
Stinger 1 farad cap
Accele 7" widescreen monitor
Modded Xbox

I second that. I installed car electronic components for years, and Sony car anything are generally pieces of shit. I have found that Pioneer head units are generally the best I have seen, on a consistent basis (between their easy user interface, high quality components, high power output, awesome radio tuner, and unit life, they easily take my first place slot for head units)

The only thing Sony that I actually admire would have to be their home televisions. they haven't let me down.....yet.  <

I have 1 JL Audio 10w7 subwoofer in the back, powered by my Phoenix Gold amp. It thumps better than anything at my school. Cost me about $600, i have hook-ups through my friend's dad. I bought the amp from my bro, when it was new it cost about $400. And i believe the 10w7 retails for around $700. I got it for $400. Rest of my speakers were installed by the previous owner of my car. They are decent but need to be better. Its an 83 Camaro btw.

Pioneer has the best tuners no doubt, but I hate everything else about their systems. I've never had a problem with a Sony CD player until my latest one, which fucks up any song that's after about 30 mins into a CD, unless it's a real CD, or is a Sony branded CD-R. I use Memorex because they're the only printable CD-Rs you can buy anywhere near my house, and they're cheap.   <

Regarding the Supra comment - Nova (as in Chevy Nova) when broken into "No va" is Spanish for "It doesn't go".  <
