still i figure it should in theory be possible to use them in regular combat
And why are there so many dirty words in permanent_strings.sff ?

And the good part is that Cage/Sonya/Jax/etc are all included on the disc,
except they are called "DA_Johnny_Cage.ssf" and by opening them in a hex-editor you can even find the part where their fighting skills are listed as well as their moves. (and apparantly you can fight against them in Konquest, but konquest sucks donkey balls so i just downloaded a complete save)
renaming for example Johnny Cage to kabal.ssf made the xbox lock up though..
maybe i'll give a shot at editing the select screen again today, maybe i just need to read more through the commands..
if anyone's interested in helping feel free cause this job might be too big for just me..

on the select screen go to LiuKang's picture and press Start to select him. (will only work if you found his second costume in konquest though)

i tried renaming Sonya's Internal name to that of mileena and then renaming mkda_sony.ssf to mileena.ssf
but it just locked up the game as soon as i selected Mileena.
I also compared Mileena.ssf to Mileena_alt.ssf but i couldnt find any interesting bytes to change..
damn i dont know where to look anymore.. if only we could unpack the ssf files..

Yeah i saw it on gamefaqs, that was what i was looking for,
the models are in the game so in principle it should be possible to use them. (just dont expect a 100% working fighter)
