Title: Counter Strike -- How To Content Download

Alright some people messaged me after I posted that you can unlock CS maps without having Xbox live. Here you go peps:

You MUST have a mod chip to continue. Unless you're some master hacker who knows how to do this without a mod chip, I don't suggest trying it.

For starters, the Counter Strike save id is: 4d530036
Content download is stored in E:/TDATA (for people that didn't know). FTP to your xbox and go to E:/TDATA/4d530036 if its not there, create it.

*Note: This is only for the content download, not the xbox live update to CS when you first start CS in xbox live. I'm not sure exactly what that live update can do. I do have it, and have played without it (before putting going to xbox live) and have seen no difference. Reply to this if you want it, the file is 2mb.


Inside the /TDATA/4d530036 folder, create a folder called $c.
To unlock cs_office, in $c/ create a folder with the following name: 4d53003600000001
Open the folder, and on your computer make a text file like this (name: CS_Download.txt): You need a 24 across by 35 length of Blah's in that file, I'll show you 1 line (just take it and paste it 35 times separated by a return line -- the last line of blah's has a return line as well).

Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah Blah

Now upload that file to $c/4d53003600000001/

To unlock de_inferno, in $c/ create another folder with the following name:
4d53003600000002
(It's only 1 digit off cs_office)
Do the same as above except the filename needs to be: DE_Download.txt
Make sure you take that line above and copy it 35 times separated by a return line after each line including the last line.


And that's it for unlocking cs_office and de_inferno in CS without xbox live. As for the xbox live update (I think it fixes some glitches), that's a 2mb download. I do have a web server and can put it up on request.

The 2mb file is a Xbox live update to the game. Rumor said it fixes some glitches in the game, I'm not 100% sure on that. Someone did message me saying they will host the file, so I will put it up and give everybody the link if people want it. To make it EVEN easier.   Copy and paste the following into each of those 2 TXT files (make sure there is a return line at the end):

the file structure is as follows. when you connect to xbox live in the /E/TDATA/4d530036/ it creates a sub folder $u and $c. in $u, you have to have the default.xbe, downloader.xbe, and update.xbe and contentmeta.xbx. contentmeta.xbx is the file you need in this folder. as far as the $c folder, both 4d53003600000001 and 4d53003600000002 must also have the contentmeta.xbx and ContentImage.xbx. the 2mb file in question includes this.

I have downloaded the xbox live update, where can I find this file on my harddrive?
